The school was flooded as a result of the earthquake and is one of the hundreds of buildings Japanese residents are trying to put back together. Many people are still living in evacuation shelters or staying in cars or boats, enduring the shortages of basic necessities. While Japan continues to work toward getting people back to their homes and families, the horror of this national disaster will continue to be stuck in recovery for many months ahead.
